They are also urging second-hand dealers and cycle shops to be vigilant for the missing bikes, which were taken overnight from a detached garage at a property in Theynes Croft, Long Ashton, between 11pm on July 24 and 7am the following morning (July 25).
One of the bikes was a pearlescent white coloured Boardman hybrid bike, which has 21 gears, a computer and air horn and has straight handlebars.
The second bike is a Dutch-built Gazelle Torrence hybrid bike, which is a blue green colour and has 21 gears, a computer and straight handlebars.
Police are appealing to members of the public to be vigilant and report if they see – or are offered – the bikes.
Cycle dealers and second-hand dealers are also being asked to be on the lookout for the bikes.
Anyone able to provide any information in relation to the bikes is asked to contact police at Nailsea police station on the force number 101.
Police have advised cycle owners to take precautions to protect their bikes - advise is available on this website by going to the crime reduction section.
